Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist – Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa
Job Title: Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist (Full Time)
Overview: The Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist will take on the day-to-day responsibilities of the digital presence for Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa (Manalapan, FL) across multiple platforms. This hotelier will have a high comfort level and technical experience with all digital formats.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Execute all email marketing campaigns for the resort, food & beverage and some spa.
- Update the monthly activities calendar (both print & digital versions).
- Implementation of miscellaneous digital initiatives (i.e. gift cards, key cards).
- Assist with App development & maintenance.
- Update TVs screens in guest rooms.
- Update Elevator screens throughout the resort.
- Complete requested website updates as well as perform audit of website from time to time.
- Assist with virtual tours for website (i.e. True tour / Visiting Media).
- Attend weekly digital marketing calls and when time allows, Marketing, & PR calls.
- Maintain all digital platform listings (TripAdvisor, Preferred Hotels, Forbes, etc).
- Assist with miscellaneous marketing & brand projects.
- Assist with miscellaneous resort wide renovation tasks.
- Assist with annual sales & marketing plan as well as reporting needs for ownership.
- Experiment with new tools and platforms.
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Assist in some social media and reputation management support.
- Assist in some administrative duties, such as, amenity requests for VIP guests, reservation requests, Adaco ordering, some invoicing and budget overview.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with demonstrated success in digital and communications.
- Strong understanding and background with luxury or established brands.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; hospitality experience a plus.
- Must be flexible, with the ability to multi-task and frequently adjust to several team dynamics, changing priorities and timelines in a fast-paced working environment. Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds.
- Must be able to attend events on weekends and holidays if needed.
- Self-starter, constantly thinking proactively and identifying new opportunities.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to write with a given audience in mind.
- Diplomacy in internal/external communications.
- Outstanding commitment to customer service and customer advocacy.
- Focus on corporate reputation, image and risk management.
